We at Rowledge C of E school recognise that parents may choose to have additional tutoring sessions for their child with the aim to support learning that we do in class.

These 1:1 sessions can be a powerful learning experience for some pupils and we like to support families in making the most of tutoring sessions.  As such, we have been able to facilitate tutoring sessions during the school day with their chosen private tutor.  This can offer benefits to children that may struggle to maintain concentration in sessions out of school hours.

We carefully consider how best to arrange these lessons during the school day to minimise the impact of any missed time in class.
