Our Strategic Plan
As a school, we are always looking to reflect and refine our practices, policies and procedures in line with our vision and values. Our ‘School Strategic Plan’ (SSP) has been developed by staff and governors who are fully committed to improving the quality of teaching and learning.
Intent 1 - Safeguarding
To continue to ensure that safeguarding is central to everything that we do, including pupil and parent voice.
Intent 2 - Personal Development, well-being, spirituality and diversity
To continue to ensure that all children and adults flourish within our church school, with inclusion and well-being being central to this.
Intent 3 -Inclusion
To continue to ensure that SEN and Pupil Premium provision is impactful for every child and to ensure that our whole school community fully understands difference and diversity, including protected characteristics, to promote inclusivity
Intent 4 - Curriculum, Teaching and Achievement
To continue to ensure that all children are challenged from their starting points, in all areas of the curriculum, in order to ensure exceptional progress and attainment.
Focus – Understanding of word class, spelling and handwriting and problem solving in maths
Intent 5 -Attendance and Behaviour
To continue to work in partnership with parents to create an environment that promotes positive attendance and to ensure that children further understand how to manage their own emotions and behaviours, and understand those of others.
Intent 6 - Leadership and governance
To ensure that all members of the senior leadership team and the governing body contribute collectively and fully to the leadership and management of the school.
Our full SSP can be found below. The milestones of the SSP will be reported to governors in appropriate meetings as part of our cycle of monitoring and evaluation.
